References (How far back)?

Can someone tell me how far back the vetting goes for references?
My current employment I have been in for 11 years but 2 years ago they made me redundant and I did agency work for 5 weeks.Then my current employers offered me a my job back but in a different section so I returned immediatley giving the agency company no notice at all.
Is it worth mentioning this break in employment?
I am really really worried this will affect my chances.

I don't see anything to worry about.
The big thing is don't hide it because when it comes to light the big question is 'why did you hide it?'
Any sensible and reasonable recruiter looking at that will see one thing and one thing only that your employer took you back on and that says volumes.

I also do back rubs, foot massages and other forms of stress relief.
Scooby, Jayh, Kwakajak, Skippy and others will vouch for me; and if they don't then I know where they all live and will come down and spend the weekend with them all again. This time though I will try and keep the starwberry sauce within the confines of the twister mat - sorry guys.

i wouldnt be worried , they look back at the last 3 years the only thing they dont like is gaps STAY COOL good luck
